Spring is on its way, and with it comes something we've been excited to share: this season, we're launching free monthly art classes for children at the farm.

Starting Sunday May 3rd, children 6-12yo are invited to join us on the first Sunday of each month as part of Coyote Cafe. Led by lifelong educator and longtime friend of the farm Caroline Cregan, each class will draw on the natural world and all the farm has to offer with hands-on, child-led creative exploration. Programs will include:

MAY 3: Collage & zine making
JUNE 7: Paper making and marbling
JULY 5: Botanical printing
AUGUST 2: Sun printing (cyanotype)
SEPTEMBER 6: Block printing
OCTOBER 4: Ceramics

This initiative is close to our hearts. At WESTAC, we've always believed in the importance of building intergenerational community. Offering children the space to make, observe, and create with their own hands, at their own pace, is a natural extension of that vision.
